How to control excessive sweating

Being a teenager, or really, being a person at all is very difficult without having to deal with all the different things that can come about. Things like excessive sweating problems or body odor and different personal matters can be incredibly embarrassing if you don’t know how to deal with them. It can be social suicide if you are not acceptable to the company you are with. No one may tell you that you have a problem so you need to make sure that you are paying attention to yourself.

Too Much Dandruff
People think that dandruff is a ‘dirty’ condition. This is not true. Actually, the more you wash your hair, the worse the problem is going to get. This is because dandruff is flakes of old skin cells. This happens to everyone but having dandruff means that the process happens faster than most people. Try not washing your hair as often as shampoo can dry out your scalp, aggravating the problem. When you do wash, make sure you are using products that are anti irritants and anti dandruff. Brushing your scalp before washing can also help.

An Excessive Sweating Problem
The official name for an excessive sweating problem is hyperhidrosis. In order to stop excessive body sweating, there are several things that you can do. You can’t really permanently stop hyperhidrosis but there are certain things you can do to help control excessive sweating. You’ll need to use an antiperspirant as opposed to regular deodorant. Deodorant will cover body odor but does not stop you from sweating like antiperspirant does. There are medical grade antiperspirants that you can get over the counter to help you. Botox in your arm pits is another form of controlling the problem. Although, that one can get a little pricey.

Noticeable Bad Breath
Having bad breath after eating garlic or coffee or getting to brush your teeth is one thing, but when you have it all the time, that can be more serious. Sometimes, simply using a tongue cleaner can help as it is the tongue that actually causes the bad breath, usually. Bacteria can harbor there. Dehydration could also be a cause, so drink up. It could be an indication of gum disease or tooth decay in your mouth. Make an appointment to see your dentist to check out all possible issues.

Acne Issues
Having too much oil or not enough oil seems to provide acne to the luckiest of people. These spots pop up when your sebaceous glad produces more sebum than usual. The problem is, the more acne people have, the more they wash their face. However, the artificial products in cheaper face washes and exfoliates actually strip your natural oils which causes the body to think they need to product more. Washing your face less may actually help you out. Try just splashing with water and then use an exfoliating mask once a week to cleanse your pours. Using oil to take off your make up will help to clean your face while not sending messages to your body to create more oil.

Bladder Weakness
It’s common to leak urine when you sneeze, laugh, jump or cough after you give birth and in older women. However, there are plenty of women that struggle with this having had no children and not being older. Strengthening your pelvic floor muscles will help to better support your bladder so you have more control over it. Being overweight and smoking can also weaken your bladder. If pelvic exercises do not work for you, you may need to see your doctor to consider some type of surgery to cure your partial incontinence.

It’s so frustrating to have issues like excessive sweating problems and acne, but not knowing how to cure them is what really takes the cake. Thankfully, you don’t have to just crawl under a rock or hibernate from the world when you are going through episodes. These may not even be all of the answers to these problems and there are more problems with other solutions as well. Do your own research regarding your bodily issue, there is bound to be something you can do to help yourself.
